The European Association of Archaeologists brings together around 11,000 members who come from more than 60 different countries and working in prehistoric, classical, medieval and post-medieval archaeology. Their annual conference, considered as the most important meeting of the archaeological community in Europe, took place in Barcelona from 5th to 8th of september 2018 and brought together almost 3,000 participants.

During the conference, BioDivMex members presented their work in two sessions.

The talk took place in the session « Communities, environment and resources : the structuration of cultural landscapes in prehistoric Sicily and the central Mediterranean basin » and the entire session will be published in a special issue of Archaeological Sciences (peer-review newspaper).
